We secured a brand new model of the Malibu 2 Classic with life jackets and Pfds as one of the Raffle items. Additional raffle tickets can be bought day of the event. Old Town is now the Main Sponsor. Looking forward to the potluck afterwords!

Fishing update. Monterey continues to see large Ca halibut being caught in the area. For the derby people can still go for Ca halibut, Ocean Whitefish, Perch, WSB, and any other fish in season. It can truly be anyones game. Its going to be a ton of fun

Are sharks still fair game? There were some threshers in the area….

Floaters everywhere watch - seagulls clean up day

Why would there be any more floaters than a year prior.  Fishing is killing regardless of the goal.

I have a picnic table (6ft?) that I am more than happy to loan out for the event.  However, I won't be able to carry it with me to the event because I will have a yak on my roof.  If someone who lives in the Concord/Walnut Creek area who can come by to pick it up before hand and take it down to the event, it would be great.

I think this will be my first time as a contestant at the MBK Derby.  Thanks and kudo's Adam and Co. for keeping this tradition going and pushing through when things get tough (like rockfish closures...).  My plan is to troll  two gigantic and somewhat ridiculous lures down to the Hotel area and back.  Maybe a little smelly goo on them.

I would love to have a camp site.  I find it harder and harder to do same day trip.  Thanks.

Hey Lingkiller! Send me a reminder on the week of the tourney. I’ll need your name & vehicle info.

Howdy.  I sent you a reminder PM.  Hopefully there is still a site left.  Thanks.
