I already had a heart to heart about these boats with chuck tonight.  But I just thought I'd post anyway for the rest of you in case you were curious about what kind of used deals are going on in socal.

I saw this boat tonight.  I threw $800 cash at her and she wanted $950.  It was new, still in bubble wrap, in the box.  I can't justify a fourth boat so I passed on it - but GD!  A really nice brand new Outback w/ all the trimmings for under 4 digits.

Chuck, glad you didn't try to persuade me either way dude.  And thanks for listening.  In the end, $1K is a whole lot better to have than another boat.  I've got no time nowadays anyway.
