Going out tomorrow!

I've read somewhere that there is supposedly  flats, there I've never seen or heard of anything.  But Albion is always a good spot  just to peddle around

Curious  as well

We chickened out and went to Albion Tuesday and Wednesday.  Tons of blacks.  I caught a capazon and a ling. Lost a china at the yak, didn't use my net. Saw a ton of birds just hanging out right outside the cove. Also saw some pretty  big fish jump that I can only assume were salmon  inside the cove

7
If you launch at van damn and stay close to shore while  heading  south  its pretty  shallow and well protected. than stay between  the giant rock and the shore  its not to bad at all.
Hardest  part will be launching  and landing

8
Do u mind  saying what u were trolling? My fiance and I are going out  tomorrow,  but salmon is a new game. I was thinking  about a anchovy  on a rotator. Behind a flasher?

9
You going for rock fish or salmon?

10
Can dam has a pretty sheltered spot south of the beach that can produce a few fish

I ordered the tsunami slow pitch rods , and they showed up today. Are the eyelets supposed to go slowly make a 180 degree rotation? Not that they're moving but that first one by the reel sits  as it would normally and the one on the top is on the opposite side of the road. Like it starts as a conventional rod and finishes as a spinning.

After reading some things here I went and gave this a shot early this week. I don't think we were in the right area but still managed our first ling and a small rockfish. First kayak fish for my fiance and I. And the ling was her biggest fish yet
Thanks for all knowledge

Glad you and your fiance had fun.
I typically go fishing with my wife on our Hobie Oasis.  If you need any help with tandem fishing, please let me know.
We typically go Russian Gulch or Fort Ross.

Paul

We had a pro angler tandem that I had to sell because we argued to much 😅. Now we're in seperate kayaks and it's a lot nicer, or she is to me haha

We have a 14 and 12. They're heavy but stable. Took ours out in the ocean this week and we're fine. An outback would be easier to peddle for sure but probably a bit more wet.
