« on: March 10, 2022, 08:25:34 PM »
I have a 2011 Adventure. Who do you Adventure Island guys get your parts from? I want to buy an entire Adventure island kit. Anyone prefer a certain online retailer or local shop?

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Yakima Vs. Thule
« on: February 01, 2020, 03:59:41 PM »
What up everyone, been a long time.  :smt006 I’m looking for racks and bars and all that to go over my truck bed to transport my kayaks. My previous method won’t work on my new truck and to tell you the truth it was a hassle anyway. This time I want to go top of the line and I want it to be as convenient as possible. I’m super close to buying Yakima Heavy Duty Truck Racks, Yakima HD Bars, Yakima Handroll and Deckhand. I haven’t seen anything from Thule that looks as good as the Yakima stuff but maybe I’m just not seeing it. So before I drop a bunch of money, let me know what you think! What would you do if you were me? Those of you with truck racks, how do you roll? I know this has been posted before, but it’s been a while since the last thread and I’m sure a bunch of new products exist. Thanks fellas, I’m looking forward to getting some time out there, I’ll definitely be tossing swimbaits for big bass soon, and prime sturgeon is about it hit! Just gotta get my transport game tight.

General Talk / Folsom?
« on: January 28, 2014, 12:26:00 PM »
I'm trying to take a friend that lives in Roseville fishing sometime in February at Folsom. I'm no off-road driving expert, and I don't much care for trudging through mud to launch/land. Are there any do-able launches left a Folsom? Or are they all mud walks and quicksand that will swallow my tires? I want him to have a good experience, you know how it is. Thanks fellas.

PS, I know next to nothing about Folsom.

General Talk / Deschutes river Sept
« on: August 28, 2013, 06:50:55 PM »
What up Homies?!?!  It's been a while since you guys have heard from me- hopefully there hasn't been a mass panic due to my absence  :smt002.  I bought a house in Dublin that needs a complete remodel (worst house, best street kinda thing) and have been putting in at least 40hrs a week there since late May. Gotta have a place to put my fishing stuff, know what I'm sayin?  I've been staying focused on house.  I can't be distracted all day with Hawg Salmon, Fat Lings, Giant Buts, Catfish and Bass and all the other awesome fishing stuff that summer brings.  I must focus, as painful as it is. :smt002

Anyhow, my parents are renting a house on the Deschutes river in the Sun river - La Pine area of Oregon in mid September and the house has yaks.  My Dad would like to know any info on fishing the area.  I don't know anything about it, but I figured someone here would.  Any info would be much appreciated.

The house will be done enough for me to get out fishing hopefully late September early October.  I will be back, and so will all my awesome reports and comments on threads.  See you guys soon, peace!  :smt006

General Talk / Anyone do Silk Screening?
« on: June 19, 2013, 12:36:52 PM »
I'm looking to have some tank tops and hoodies made.  Anyone have a hookup or does anyone do it themselves?  All the places I've called want a huge minimum order.  I'm looking for maybe 15 tanks and 15 hoodies.  Thanks.

Hitting it with JJQ and possibly a couple others. Anyone is welcome.

I know we've done this before, but that was probably a couple years ago- at least.  Since then we've had a bunch of people join.  So what does your username mean?  Me?

My name is Jeff and my last name starts with O.  Just keepin it real.

So post up and let us know.

Hookups and Fishing Reports (Viewable by Public) / Lafayette Res 1/10/13
« on: January 06, 2013, 08:13:11 PM »
I'm gonna hit Lafayette when the gates open at 0630 on Thursday.  I'll be going for LMB mostly, but I'm sure I'll give Trout a shot as well.  Holla.

My inspiration for this hookup came from a FisHunter post I came across this evening from exactly 6 years ago today!

Places to Launch and Camp / Resorts at Berryessa
« on: January 02, 2013, 08:52:25 PM »
Can anyone confirm after having been there in person that the "resorts" we used to pay to launch at are now free?  Like Markley used to be $20 and gated.  Is that gate wide open now?  Or Chapparal cove used to be $5 and gated.  Is that free too?  After reading about the Fed's shutting down the property management company that owned a bunch of the resorts on Berry, I read that they are all free now.  True?

Chuwy4 and I are gonna hit the spots and see if we can wrangle up some Dinosaurs.  If you would like to come along, we will be at McAvoy's in Bay Point at 0530.  The weather is supposed to be awesome and the tides are looking good.  Hopefully the bait shop will have grass shrimp.  With all the rain we've been having, there will probably be debris floating downstream, so this may not be the trip for beginners.  I'll be on Channel 68 all day.

General Talk / Christmas Humor
« on: December 16, 2012, 03:14:04 PM »

Dear Santa,

How are you? How is Mrs. Claus? I hope everyone from the
reindeer to the elves are fine. I have been a very good boy this year. I
would like an X - Box 360 with Call of Duty IV and an iPhone 4 for
Christmas. I hope you remember that come Christmas Day.
Merry Christmas,

Timmy Jones

* *
Dear Timmy,

Thank you for your letter. Mrs. Claus, the reindeer and the elves are all
fine and thank you for asking about them. Santa is a little worried all the
time you spend playing video games and texting. Santa wouldn't want you to
get fat. Since you have indeed been a good boy, I think I'll bring you
something you can go outside and play with.
Merry Christmas,

Santa Claus

Mr. Claus,

Seeing that I have fulfilled the "naughty vs. nice" contract,
set by you I might add, I feel confident that you can see your way clear to
granting me what I have asked for. I certainly wouldn't want to turn this
joyous season into one of litigation. Also, don't you think that a jibe at
my weight coming from an overweight man who goes out once a year is a bit
trite?

Respectfully,

Tim Jones

* *

Mr. Jones,

While I have acknowledged you have met the "nice" criteria,
need I remind you that your Christmas list is a request and in no way is it
a guarantee of services provided. Should you wish to pursue legal action,
that is your right. Please know, however, that my attorneys have been
on retainer ever since the Burgermeister Meisterburger incident and will be
more than happy to take you on in open court. Additionally, the exercise I
alluded to will not only improve your health, but also improve your social
skills and potentially help clear up a complexion that looks like the
bottom of the Burger King fry bin most days.

Very Truly Yours,

S Claus

Now look here Fat Man,

I told you what I want and I expect you to bring it. I was
attempting to be polite about this but you brought my looks and my friends
into this. Now you just be disrespecting me. I'm about to tweet my boys
and we're gonna be waiting for your fat ass and I'm taking my game console,
my game, my phone, and whatever else I want. WHAT EVER I WANT, MAN!

T - Bone

Listen Pizza Face,

Seriously??? You think a dude that breaks into every house in the world on
one night and never gets caught sweats a skinny G - banger wannabe? "He sees
you when you're sleeping; He knows when you're awake". Sound familiar,
genius? You know what kind of resources I have at my disposal. I got your
shit wired, Jack. I go all around the world and see ways to hurt people
that if I described them right now, you'd throw up your Totino's pizza roll
all over the carpet of your mom's basement. You're not getting what you
asked for, but I'm still stopping by your crib to stomp a mud hole in
your ass and then walk it dry. Chew on that, Petunia.

S Clizzy

Dear Santa,

Bring me whatever you see fit. I'll appreciate anything.

Timmy

Timmy,

That's what I thought you little bastard.

Anyone do Sand Blasting and Powder Coating? I've got an old Fire Hydrant that I'd like to have blasted and powder coated. It's probably 150lbs.
