I bought the pass before the price went up but I guess I won't be needing it anymore.

I have the same grill and love it.  It's a steal at that price!

General Talk / Re: Mirage drive and knee trouble
« on: October 13, 2020, 11:07:22 AM »
I haven't had my yak on the water since this Covid mess started.  I just bought my wife a Peloton Bike and plan to use it to get my knees back in shape for pedaling my outback.  I walk a couple of miles every day but I don't think that's going to do much good for the pedaling.  The Peloton is a rotating movement as opposed to the back and forth Hobie movement but I think it will do the trick.

For more than 10 years, I have been spraying my drives down with WD-40 after a thorough rinse.  I have actually had three mirage drives during that time.  All have worked flawlessly and without a breakdown.

I just mounted Boondox Landing Gear with the big balloon type wheels on my 2019 Outback.  I have always used a wheeleez cart in the past.  The Landing Gear will make it much easier to stow the wheels when on the water.  It should make it much easier to get it on the wheels too.  The new heavy kayaks don't make it easy on us OGs.  The stability is great but lifting them isn't much fun.

General Talk / Boondox Landing Gear on Outback
« on: August 30, 2020, 02:24:44 PM »
After struggling to get my 2019 Outback on my Wheeleez cart, my son decided I should try something else. He uses Landing Gear on his Outback but tends to be a Bass angler so sandy surfaces aren't an issue.  Boondox now has "Wheeleze" style wheels for the Landing Gear sets.  Today, he installed the Boondox Outback kit on my yak.  It appears to be a great solution, especially for us OGs using heavy yaks. I now have two sets of axles and wheels.  One for hard surfaces and one for sand.  No need to lock up the wheels or try and stuff them in the front hatch.  They ride out of the way and secure.   Pictures:

Damn Vic.  Sorry to hear that.  I'll be very curious to hear how the contact tracing goes if you are positive. I don't think Sonny hasn't mentioned where he was exposed.   Best of luck and a quick recovery!

For Sale / Another Set of Clubs - Left Handed - FREE
« on: June 22, 2020, 10:43:31 AM »
I have another set of golf clubs to give away.  This one is left handed.  I don't know much about them but I'm pretty sure it's a full set including a bag.  These were my son's but he no longer plays.  If nobody takes them by this weekend, I will donate them to a local thrift store.  PM me if interested and we can arrange a no-contact driveway pick up.  They are located in Danville.

For Sale / Golf Clubs - FREE - GONE! No longer available.
« on: June 22, 2020, 09:26:49 AM »
I have an old set of clubs that I was going to donate to a thrift store charity but thought I would offer them up for free here first.  I don't recall the brand but I know there's a Callaway Big Bertha Driver and a nice putter I won in a tournament a few years ago.  They're in a really nice monogrammed bag from a Longs Drugs Pro-Am I played in many years ago.   I don't want anything for them but would like them gone by next weekend or I will donate them.  PM if interested.  They are located in Danville.  We can do a no contact driveway pick up.

I thought you were waiting for me to sell the Man Van.  I was having new window coverings made just before this Covid shit started.  That project is on hold indefinitely.  The van is clean, has fresh oil, and is ready for action as soon as this shit is over!  I think I'm gonna keep it for a long time.

Anybody out there do residential window tinting?  I have two french doors, 2 sidelights and one window that I need to get tinted to stop fading.  I'm located in Danville.
