Welcome to NCKA Anthony. You should consider taking a beginning kayak class to see if your up for it. CCK at Jack London Square is pretty close to where you are located.

For Sale / Yakima Kayak Rack
« on: May 09, 2020, 03:05:24 PM »
Yakima round bar rack with Q-Towers, EvenKeel mounts, BoatLoader side extender, and foam block. These are not compatible with my newer SUV, so I need to see them go. The bars were 60” but I cut them down to 53”. You will need to go to the Yakima website and make sure that the bars are long enough, and vehicle specific clips (has Q116 clips) are available, they will need to be purchased to mount the rack. $Free must be picked up in the Berkeley area.

Hi Andre, When I first looked at your pictures I was wondering where you would sit with all of that stuff. I started out light but I keep adding more things all the time. Welcome to NCKA.

Not open yet but many are hoping something will happen by the end of the week. At least they are allowing slip holders to go out. Sonoma County won’t let anyone go out at Bodega.

Welcome to NCKA Dean. The group events have been canceled but once the SIP order is lifted we will at the local bay spots in force. The power boaters call us the plastic NAVY. Lots of good places to launch on the bay. Oyster Point, Alameda Rock Wall (Encinal), Ferry Point are some of more popular spots. Check out the “Safety First” for must haves when going in the bay or ocean.

General Fishing Tips / Re: Best Fish Finder for Trident 13

One thing to keep in mind when using a water bath is that a lot of lakes will not allow you to launch. They are worried about quagga and zebra mussels.

If your just going in the bay and ocean it won’t be an issue.
