SAN PABLO RESERVOIR FISH REPORT
OCTOBER 21, 2013
The San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area is open with the hours being 6:30 am to 6:00 pm and boats being off the water by 5:00 pm.  The Boat Launch area is open 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available. The water temp has been around 59 degrees. Our last Trout plant of 1,200 lbs. was on October 8, 2013. The Trout bite has picked up at the Dam and in front of the Main Recreation area. The Catfish  are still biting in Scow Canyon and out across from the Boat Launch area. The Broken-Back Fire-Tiger and the Panther Martins seem to be working for those that are trolling. Bass have picked up using Drop-shots and Crank Baits, as well as Top Water lures. Catfish have been biting on Night Crawlers, Anchovies, Shrimp, and Chicken Livers.
We are also having our Family Fishing Day this Saturday October 26th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at 7301 San Pablo Dam Rd. El Sobrante Ca. 94803… There will be Fishing for the kids in a netted area, BBQ Lunch($5.00) & Prizes! Admission is free and parking will be at a discounted price so come out and decorate a pumpkin from our patch and receive one raffle ticket just for showing up… Fishing experts will be on hand to assist and provide one on one help throughout the day.

Lassen Trout was on Monday June 3, 2013 with 1,080 lbs. of catchable Trout and 120 lbs. of trophy Trout. The water temp has been around 70 degrees. The Trout are still biting and are being caught from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area, Pines, the Tower and across the other side at Sandy Beach and in Scow Canyon, and also from the shoreline at the Boat Launch area. PowerBait for the Trout such as  Chartreuse and Spring Green as well as Green Pumpkin have been working as well as the Mice Tails, the Broken-Back Fire-Tiger and the Panther Martins seem to be working for those that are trolling. Bass have picked up with people using Drop-shots and Crank Baits, Catfish have started biting on Night Crawlers, Anchovies and Shrimp out at the Boat Launch Shoreline Area.

Lassen Trout was on Tuesday May 21, 2013 with 1,080 lbs. of catchable Trout and 120 lbs. of Trout and DFG planted that same week also. The water temp has been around 69 degrees. The Trout bite is still good and are being caught from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area, Pines, the Tower  and across the other side at Sandy Point and in Scow Canyon, and also from the shoreline at the Boat Launch area aswell . PowerBait for the Trout such as Rainbow, Chartreuse and Spring Green as well as Green Pumpkin have been working as well as the Mice Tails, the Broken-Back Fire-Tiger and the Panther Martins seem to be working for those that are trolling. The Trout bite remains to be  good and are being caught from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area and across the other side at Sandy Point, Graveyard Cove in Scow Canyon, and also from the shoreline at the Boat Launch area aswell . PowerBait for the Trout such as Rainbow, Chartreuse and Spring Green have been working as well as the Mice Tails, the Broken-Back Fire-Tiger, Panther Martins, and Clowns  seem to be working for those that are trolling. Bass have picked up with people using Drop-shots, and Top Water lures as well as Chatter Baits, Catfish have started biting on Night Crawlers, Anchovies and Shrimp out at the Boat Launch Shoreline Area. PowerBait for the Trout such as Rainbow, Chartreuse and Spring Green have been working as well as the Mice Tails and Nightcrawlers inflated, the Broken-Back Fire-Tiger, Panther Martins, and Clowns  seem to be working for those that are trolling. SAN PABLO RESERVOIR FISH REPORT
March 18, 2013
The San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area is open with the hours being 6:30 am to 6:00 pm and boats being off the water by 5:00 pm. The Boat Launch area is open 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available. Our last plant of Mt. Lassen Trout was on Tuesday March 12, 2013 with 1,080 lbs. of catchable Trout and 120 lbs. of trophy Trout and the Department of Fish & Game planted 2,000 lbs. of Trout the same day. The water temp has been around 56 degrees. The Trout bite is excellent and they were being caught from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area and across the other side at Sandy Point and Scow Canyon and also from the shoreline at the Boat Launch area aswell . PowerBait for the Trout such as Chartreuse and Spring Green have been working as well as the Mice Tails and Nightcrawlers inflated, the Broken-Back Fire-Tiger and Kastmasters seem to be working for those that are trolling.
