SAN PABLO RESERVOIR FISH REPORT
OCTOBER 21, 2013
The San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area is open with the hours being 6:30 am to 6:00 pm and boats being off the water by 5:00 pm. The Boat Launch area is open 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available. The water temp has been around 59 degrees. Our last Trout plant of 1,200 lbs. was on October 8, 2013. The Trout bite has picked up at the Dam and in front of the Main Recreation area. The Catfish are still biting in Scow Canyon and out across from the Boat Launch area. The Broken-Back Fire-Tiger and the Panther Martins seem to be working for those that are trolling. Bass have picked up using Drop-shots and Crank Baits, as well as Top Water lures. Catfish have been biting on Night Crawlers, Anchovies, Shrimp, and Chicken Livers.
We are also having our Family Fishing Day this Saturday October 26th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at 7301 San Pablo Dam Rd.
