Its that time of the year again to start setting up for the next derby. I want to continue this as long as I possibly can. But in order to do this I need the max number of participants to make it worth it. Cast your vote for the best choice.

I have no preference.

But whichever day is selected, can we all tell Sailfish it's the other day, so that the rest of us have a chance?
Please don't spoil my day, I'm miles away...

Capitola Art and Wine Festival is on the 14th and I usually help set up Amadeo Bachar's booth with him.

It's been a while for me since I have attended this event. If it works out, I would like to make it this year.

Sounds like we will be picking the 7th as the Derby date. Do any of you have any ideas on how to get more people to bring food to make it a big potluck?

Make it a requirement to enter the tournament and show proof on arrival. Also push back the food/raffle time to 2 pm… 12 is too early

What about instead of a potluck having some sort of food truck or something show up? Potluck is great but a lot of people are trying to maximize their time on the water, then clean and load gear, etc etc. By the time all that is done prepping food is maybe not high on people’s priority list.
