Okay, first things first, it has not arrived yet, but Brett from Stealth sent me some images today. So let me introduce my Fisha 555 aka the "Orange Crush,"  or as GF likes to point out that as a Rhode Isander, I have a tendency to drop the "o" in orange, sound it sounds more like "rrange. " (It is a Rhody thing).

That solid Orange is bad a$$. I couldn’t sleep at night if I were waiting for the delivery on this.

There are nights I find myself working myself up thinking about future trips.  I see a lot of peddle drives up here. I also see a ton of Eddylines up here. GF is looking very hard at Eddyline as her next touring rig.  She has to decide which model the Stika or the Fathom.

I went with Orange for one primary reason, I want to be seen out there. Big Red, my old Hobie Quest stood out (as much as a rotomolded Kayak can).  Even as red as that boat was, iw ould still get buzzed far too close from boaters.   Will this make a huge difference?  I have my doubts, as Forrest Gump said, Stupid is, as stupid does." And many boaters are very Ignorant of what they are doing.  Keeping your hand on a throttle, after consuming how many drinks , and then going WOT (Wide open throttle), is just fracking dumber than dumb.

I don’t even have my name on one and I’m worked up; between that darn rockitt kit channel and thinking about who else I can coax to get one...the last week or so has been rough. Haha

I hope Ruben has something unaccounted for in that container yours is coming in.

I haven’t seen anything but pedals down this way. It seems everyone wants to kick around. That’s cool, but I really enjoy paddling and hoping to play in the surf on days I can’t get out.

You’re a lucky man to have a gf that likes being on the water. She has a tough decision to make between those to kayaks.

Some boaters shouldn’t be able to own a boat. All that water out there and they somehow find us. Lol I like your reasoning with the color. I’ll be playing around a major ship channel so that won’t work for me. If they see me or not, they can’t move. I’ll have to be defensive out there.

I have a couple colors in mind, but IF what I’m looking for is in that container I’m rolling with it. Ruben is dealing with the fires so I haven’t gotten an answer to that yet. It can definitely wait though.

One thing up here to own a power boat you have to have a passed USCG approved boater course.  We have a lot of Ferry and sea traffic here, so you got to know the Law of tonnage, and other things before you become a speed bump.
