I got a lot better weather than the Saturday crew, no rain, occasional sun, mostly overcast & some breeze, but slow on the striper quest. I only saw two tiny boils, that went down quickly. I saw guys picking up trouts toplining. But I did finally get some pics of fish on the SI and 2D to post.

I ran over two schools of what I think were stripes, unfortunately they seemed to be lockjawed

The first school I noted first on the SI, steered over and saw the marks on the 2D. I frantically cast & cast, while punching the snapshot button. Fish vanished after a few minutes, no hookups. Then I noticed I the FFnder wasn't in snapshot mode (AAARGGH)

Some hours later I found second school (maybe same school as before, but it seemed smaller), I've circled the fish on all the pics.  I got two hookups and managed to drop  both(AARGGGH).
Fish on left, midwater on right, some presence underneath

Fish on the right, and midwater, none showing up on downscan

Fish on left, midwater left and right, bigtime downscan

This second school hung around for 10-15 minutes, then also moved on.

The sizes of these schools are awesome, dozens of fish and extending 20-50'. I think my lack of hookups was getting buck fever from these images, and using retrieves and flies that work when they're on the chew, but not when they're sulky (speed? size? color?)

The boat inspection was easy again, the guy commented on the NCKA crazies from Saturday. On Sunday only 25 boats came, and 3 were turned away because they were wet.
