I've always wanted to camp overnight in Tamales Bay from the kayak. Good luck if you go. Thanks everyone for posting all the helpful links. Erics reply about the camping spot south of shelter cove sounds incredible as well!

I'm headed out in Cayucos Bay to fish for halibut tomorrow. If anyone has any tips on rigging that works better down here please give me a shout. I'll let you know if I find em.

I'm headed out in Morro Bay to fish for halibut this week. If anyone has any tips on rigging that works better down here please give me a shout. I usually fish in the SF bay for halibut and have good luck with a standard Halibut rig an anchovy on it....

Hey Everyone, I still feel like I haven't found the best website or app to look at swell predications and other important weather info? Does anyone have an app they love or website or a section of NOAA thats is more user friendly? Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

Hi everybody! I've been meaning to join this website for a couple years now and just kept forgetting. My name is Gavin and I live in Petaluma. I've been an Abalone diver for 17 years now and over the last few years have started to get more into spear fishing and kayak fishing. And I love it! I've heard lots of great thing about this community of people and am exited to have finally joined.
