Hobie Kayaks / Hobie MD180 turbo fins

Does anybody know why the V1 to V2 turbo kits dropped in price so much? They went from $255 to $168. On AustinKayak it says that they are no longer available. Maybe a new drive it's coming?
The reason why I noticed is I have a V1 md180 that I need to get turbo fins and I have been keeping an eye on it and now I see a drastic drop in price.

General Talk / STOLEN: Pontoon Boat

Hey guys I know this is not kayak related but last night my friends pontoon boat was stolen out of his driveway around 9:30pm from Orangevale. Please keep your eye out and let know if you see it around Sac. Reward is thief found and convicted. Has/had a cover on it. It was captured in a ring security cam. Looks to be a smaller gray SUV.

Up for sale is an Ivory dune Hobie outback that is in really good condition. Will come with turbo fins V2 drive and a sailing rudder. No holes drilled in this kayak. No deep scratches on the kayak. Just normal wear and tear on the bottom as expected with any kayak Included with kayak is seat, Hobie paddles, V2 drive with turbo fins and sailing rudder. I am asking $1400. Shoot me your best offers.

Hey,
I am helping a family sell their Hobie outback. They are going a though a tough time so I am helping them sell the kayak. The kayak is in really good condition. I would have bought it myself but I already own a 2011 outback. Attached are some pictures. I will be picking up the kayak tomorrow morning from the family and so I will be able to show it tomorrow morning. It comes with the mirage drive, paddle, seat and the Hobie kayak

I will be driving to bay area on Sunday so I would be willing to deliver it to bay area.

Hey, I just picked a used 2011 Hobie Outback and looking to upgrade to turbo fins. Can't spend the money yet to buy new ones so looking to see if I can find a used set for a decent price that someone might have laying around.

Hey guys,

Most of the time I fish lakes and rivers with the kayak but since I will be going camping to Ocean Cove this weekend, I want to try fishing off the kayak. I fished there a few years back off a PB but would love some tips and locations on where to fish with the kayak. I don't want to paddle out too far since it's my first time on the ocean with the kayak but I still want to catch some rock fish. I would love some pointers and tips on where to fish at ocean cove.

Hello all,

My name is Mike. I've been lurking around this forum since I bought my kayak couple months ago. I bought a Ascend FS12 from a coworker of mine. I've been fishing since I can remember and now beginning to get into kayak fishing. My brother has been kayak fishing for years so I did a few kayak fishing trips with his kayak but now since I got my own, I will be doing a lot more of it. Taken my kayak out for the first time this past Saturday to the Sac River deep channel. Was some what slow. Landed a 14" Striper and my brother caught a 14" LMB. Seen quite a few kayaks out there. Chatted with some and one of them was of this forum. Forgot his screen name but begins with sturgeon or something. Some of you might wonder why the name SnoWhite...I am member of TacomaWorld and my handle name is SnoWhite there as well so I decided to use the same name to have to memorize less usernames. I named my white Tacoma SnoWhite so that's where it came from.

Looking forward to meeting and fishing with y'all in the future.
