2018 DOTY entries are closed

Thanks to all that participated in the 2018 DOTY. 

Congratulations to the top three: Matt, Adam and Eric.

And a big Way to go for Silent Hunter on the youth side.  You did great keep up the great work. 

You guys entered some quality fish.  Info on awards and prizes will be updated when available. 

Matt will be taking the lead for 2019.  Please wait for the site to be archived before uploading any 2019 fish.

Adam is an awesome diver and I lucked out that conditions weren't nicer on the final weekend, because I have no doubt he would have made a run at it!

+100 to Duane for all the help and text convos this year. I was a newbie nuckle head at the beginning of the year and there were many willing to give me advice to get me to where I am now. Thank you again to all those who invest in the upcoming slayers. I'm stoked to have placed in the top 3 but very ready to push hard in 2019 now that I have a better idea of this area (I would really benefit from that Kayak prize!). I'd love to dive up north with Matt, Adam, Matt M., and the rest of the skilled spearos up there in the coming months. Matt and Adam, you both did amazing and kept racking up the points! I had a fat spreadsheet tracking everyone's progress and I just couldn't find the bigger ling & scallop at the end to close the gap. This being my first comp, I take it we will have a get together somewhere to celebrate? What can I do to help in 2019 with facilitation and such?

I'm definitely going to push DOTY with my dive community down here in PG/Monterey/Sur/South Bay. This was such a fun competition and taught me a ton about fish/spots/structure/behavior/strategy etc.
