Well im crazy enough to make the trek to salt springs. I have fished that lake for the last two years in may without a lot of sucess. Did you get these fish this year? Last year in may I have a hell of a time getting my yak out of the low water conditions after six inches of snow that fell the night before. Let me check the calendar. Sounds like fun.

Hello! And new to the club. My plan is to take my daughter home in the Sacramento area friday morning and then slide the yak in the clarksburg area on my way home. Got the day off!!!!! Haven't fished that stretch of river before. Bait fish sturgeon and troll stripers. Copy welcome!!
