Guitarzan is very active on a cellular level. I was just checking out your pic in the sniffer about your BAM win in '08.

Nice! Was that the year Dan (Mahi) got stuck on the beach?

So how active does one need to be, in order to be "active"?

I'm mainly a lurker now, as the demands on my life have changed.  But I'm still fishing, and still kayaking (just bought an Aire Tomcat) but not really doing all that much kayak fishing. This was the year to get out on the salt with #2 son, but Covid....

I’m enjoying watching this thread. I signed up a few months before Mooch left and wish I had the opportunity to have met him.  I am looking forward to more OGs showing up and reminiscing.

So who here was on the old Yahoo newsgroup or Jim Sammons' site, the pre-cursors to NCKA.  One day Jim's site was down and within days we had NCKA, courtesy of Papa Bill!

Whatever happened to Bill?
I’m sure I’ve heard the story, but I forget where he went.

He moved to Houston.  That's when NCKA moved under my care.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I honestly haven’t been on here for a minute.
I pop in and read some stuff, don’t recognize any names and bounce.
Since Tote started this one and I joined in May of 2005 I thought I’d reply.

I was on the Yahoo newsgroup that I think Elric was running in early 2003 and also had a profile on Jim's site but don't think I ever posted anything there.

Not sure why it took me so long to register here.

And what's up, Mr Matt! One of the first NCKA members that I met!

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

What's up Matt!?
Did Tote ever show you the coin buried in the cement at his place we helped him move into?
Check it out.
Hope to see you again soon!

Hey bro!  I’m not sure if he showed me the coin or not. He could have, but I was too distracted checking out his new place.  Such a beautiful spot!

Check your pm’s.
