I have recently acquired a sit on top Kayak rigged for fishing. I have limited experience paddling but vast experience fishing the Bay and Coast. I live on the Peninsula and wish to fish from Monterey to Bodega and the Bay as well. I fish; Salmon, Ling, Cabs, Halibut, Bass,WSB and Sturgeon, having done so from a power boat for 30 years. I am intent on adapting my experience to near-shore fishing and recognize the need to share the experience with others for safety and companionship.
