Chef Laura and Eric did our wedding dinner for thirteen people, it was spendy, but totally engaging and worth every penny.

Such a fun trip! One thing to remember is to grab a fire permit from the Olema ranger station. Looks like you might even be able to do it online these days. They have some firewood restrictions too, they prefer you buy it in west Marin as to not spread disease.

We had the bioluminescence going off while we were there, such a trip. Glowing crabs and leopard sharks swimming below the kayak. Even a swimming raccoon, that had no fear of us or interest in our garbage, just wanted to seemingly hang by the fire and eat a crab claw.

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Re: FishFinder location - left or right side?

There is also a Ram mount that will fit in the Hobie mast hole. While it’s a bit of a reach, it frees up both sides of the kayak for fishing.

Canned albacore, a jar of mayo and wonder white bread on a river bank is a classic. Down in Baja it’s sliced bologna with mustard on Bimbo bread, perfecto.

Here is the list of tickets/paid entries so far...if I am missing your name please just let me know!!

It will be fun to watch if they compete this year. 2009 was one of my favorite years as an AOTY spectator.

That was my first year in NCKA and it was awesome!!

Sincerely,

2009 came down to the final hours of the 31st of December at Clear Lake.  I had know idea if Dad had got his upgrade or not until dinner that night.  He leaned over, shook my hand and said congratulations.   I had even more fun in 2010 fishing with Dad on his quest for all 20 species.  Can't wait to see what fun AOTY 2016 brings this year.  Thanks for all you do, guys!
