Well maybe not for the wife but what about crab bait, could it work? mmmm, maybe I'll try with the next one I catch. R.

The meat is very lean almost no fat.  I think you will be better off stick to the real chicken for crab bait  :smt002

... so war was declared. I think I am winning, R.

My nemeses are squirrels. I hadn't gotten any in a while, but there was a big one in my trap today...

They taste like chicken  :smt002

I was told by a game warden that we only have 2 choices:  either kill it or release it where it's caught.  I wonder if animal control will take them.

That is great news!  Thanks for the info Howard.

General Talk / Re: California Boater Card
« on: April 05, 2024, 03:27:44 PM »
Note: You do not need this card for a motorized kayak.

"California law requires a person to be 16 years of age or older and in possession of his/her California Boater Card to legally operate a vessel powered by a motor of 15 hp or more, including personal watercraft (PWCs)."

My Trolling motor is 36lb thrust. Nowhere near 15HP.

Thanks for the clarification PnJ.

It is required for motorized boat operator this year if you're 60 years of age or younger.
