I:spoke dan last Saturday. I wanted to thank him for the customer service they has given me over the years. Mat will back and forth from redding. And he has known the person for a long time who took k over the shop up there. I tried going to another local shop  but will never again go back. I myself will drive up to Redding to see them for my kayak needs.

I bought my first kayak there years ago on watt ave. Had the same experience after that. After that I bought my last 4 kayaks at headwaters. Since they closed I thought of giving them another chance since it is new owners. He did say it was a waste to mount a fishfinder on a paddle kayak. The cheating part really got me mad. I was there to buy some items to mount my my hummingbird I had bought at sportsman .warehouse. . I think next time if I need to go to a kayak shop I will make the drive to Redding at headwaters adventure. It is hard to believe these companies can stay open with the horrible customer service they provide

Hey everyone I went to kayak city today in Sacramento. I wanted everyone to know the bad customer service I had. I went in to ask about mounting a fish finder and be able to switch it from one kayak to another. I let the person know one was a Eddie line carribean and the second was a yellow fin tandem. The person said I was wasting my time mounting a fishfinder on a paddle kayak and I was cheating by using one. The other thing he said I could not drill holes in the eddyline. I know that is incorrect. Where I bought my last kayak they drilled holes and mounted everything I needed in my c135. I went in there looking to buy some items and get ideas on how to mount it. He should not be giving me his opinion that it is a waste of time mounting one on a paddle kayak. All I want to do is take my seven year old son fishing on the kayak and get him interested in the sport. I will never go back again. I will drive a couple of hours if I need to for a kayak shop that believes in giving  a customer a good experience. I work at a job where my customers get surveys on my customer service.  All they truly care about is the sale.
