Greetings from Sac

Hello. I am relatively new to kayak fishing and have really benefited from this and other forums on the net. I look forward to giving back and sharing trips reports and things I learn along the way. I fish from a tandem Hobie Outfitter with my son or wife and occasionally alone. I mostly target stripers, salmon,  trout, and kokanee. I frequent the Port of Sacramento, but have fished Union Valley, Camanche, Shasta, Berryessa and a few other smaller reservoirs this spring and summer. At both UVR and Shasta, we had several multi night boat-in camping & fishing adventures. We are never super successful in fishing terms, but we have had great time learning the craft, getting some exercise, and seeing different parts of our beautiful state. See you on the water!

If you're with your son in the yellow tandem, I believe I've seen you out in the barge canal/port recently on the weekends.  I am the guy fishing in the white camo predator.  I think I said hi one time.  Anyways, I'll be sure to say hi again next time I'm out there if that is indeed you.
