Thank you.
That will primarily be my fishing grounds. Unless the flatties and/or salmon are running.
But if there are any guys who are willing to take a greenhorn out in the Pacifica and Linda Mar area I'd appreciate an invite.

Anybody have any recommendations on a fish finder for my Malibu Stealth 12? I guess its all about price ranges. But $20-$250 is what I'd like to spend.

thank you. and yes, safety first. that's why I won't go alone. mother nature is unforgiving. I know I should start off on the 'bunny slopes' but I don't do fresh water fishing. I've fished the surf and bay all of my life. I'd like to get in with anybody who fishes HMB or any areas near Linda Mar if anybody is near. I'd like to eventually do Santa Cruz as well.
All I have is my kayak, seat and paddle so far. And of course, my fishing gear/tackle.
still need all the safety stuff, i.e. life vest, radio and anything else that I'll need.
If anybody has a package deal on any stuff, shoot me a message!

Thanks all! I appreciate the welcome. If anybody had the patience and time to talk, hang out and even willing to take out a newbie on the water, I'd appreciate it. I'm a good person to know and have in their network.

Thanks

Jeff

hello all,
been fishing all my life but new to the sport of kayak fishing. Just picked up a Malibu Stealth 12 and starting to get all my necessary gear. I'm from the peninsula and hoping to meet up with some folks to show me the ropes. I want to learn as much safety and fishing knowledge as possible as mother nature can be unforgiving. I'm primarily a saltwater guy. hoping to learn to fish the bay for flatties and stripers. But also excited about lings and salmon too.
hope to hear from some good folks!

Jeff

Austin,

By chance, were you selling a bunch of fishing stuff of CL? If so, this is Jeff. We were going back and forth about the Daiwa reel..
