I push my mirage drive pretty hard and usually go through a chain or two and a fin mast or two each season. I haven't seen this video posted before but it works and gives you a bit more life out of some of your chains.

Has anyone ever had a chain break? I’ve had a lot of cables break, fray, or rust, but I’ve never had any trouble with a chain.

That seems to be my issue too. Was hoping the video would give links to the connector pieces, haha.

Not sure offhand what the diameter of the cables are, but these are easily available in many sizes. Next time I have a break, gonna make my own damn cable, haha.

 I also recently saw a post regarding 180 roller bearing replacement bearings which looks super interesting. Ive been using some pvc pipe but this looks like a legit fix.
