I'd say include:
Sand Dabs (pretty much all you want)
White Sea Bass (they are becoming more common)
Sturgeon (unless you are only looking at ocean fish)
Salmon (some day)

I recalled the bag and possession limit for California halibut is five fish to the south of Point Sur (Monterey County), and three to the north.  Did they change the reg this year?

Just checked the 2010-2011 Reg.  There's no change for Cali Halibut bag limit.

28.15. Halibut , California.
(a) Limit: Five in waters south of a line extending due west magnetic from Point Sur, Monterey County, and three in waters north of a line extending due west magnetic from Point Sur, Monterey County.
(b) Minimum size: Twenty-two inches total length.

28.20. Halibut , Paci ficic.
(a) Season: Pacific halibut may be taken only from May 1 through October 31.
(b) Limit: One.
(c) Minimum size: None.

Porky

Put all the size and catch limits along with a pic of the fish on t-shirts, so if you're not sure just look at your shirt!

I'll take two XL thanks, but print mine upside down so I can read it from the yak

That is actually a pretty funny idea. It would have worked great down in Big Sur when that d*ckhead ranger was hassling everybody.

That is really funny. With the way regs are going in Ca you would have to buy a new shirt every year.

Thanks for summerizing the regs Porky, the DFG site can be a pain to read.
