I know someone has a 60+# setup collecting dust.  I'd like to give your rod and reel new life! And have it sit in my garage until they show up again.  Let me know what you have.  Thx!   :smt006

I haven't heard anything... but I NEED to be ready for it WHEN it happens this year.

Last year I got left in the dust because everyone made a run on all the "inexpensive" BFT gear.... no one had anything.

Is that the only rod'n'reel you're planning for your tuna quiver? Tuna can be very line shy, even if you have fluoro topshot tied on.

C'mon Howard, is it ever the only rod/reel?  :smt003  We can consider this my starting point... so I at least have something I can use.  And then, just like kayaks, I'll start building my arsenal.

Sounds like the response to every “what rod should i buy” thread on ncka.  With the exception of the “just buy ugly stick cause you can slam them in a door and not break them” loyalists.

PS….rumors of jumpers spotted locally…..if you trust bayside lol.

..........agarcia is just an ex-kayaker

it’s true, quite a few boats went to go chase them last weekend. Some big ones got caught in the squid boat nets.
