I'm convinced there's a huge boost in performance with the 2015 improvements, but it comes at the cost of added $ and weight.

Is it worth it?  It's hard to say no when your buddy with the new sailboat is leaving you and everyone else in his wake and spray. :smt003

Looking forward to joining you guys.... hopefully with a faster new boat.:smt002

Cool.  Looks like you made good use of what you had available.

I'll be curious to see Andy's version  :smt003

Tote.... are you using the led to light up your pins or are you making lighted nocks like in the video?

Looks like these lighted nocks might be cheaper and more reliable than the ones we make using bobber lights.  They just look heavier.  Got a total grain weight for the nock?   Does the carbon shaft complete the connection?

NCKA loves it's dogs!!!..... so I'm posting this for Mochi -- the cute four-legged member of Don's family.  Don's screen name is "Elusive" and he's humbly rescued more NCKA'ers in trouble on the water than anyone here I know.  I'm hoping NCKA's dog lovers can show some love back....

Lighted pins would be really nice for lots of situations. Shooting raccoons would be awesome with lighted pins! Also when the sun is in your face hard, it would be nice too. I never understood the legal issue with luminocks. If anything it helps you find your arrow to evaluate the hit/miss. There are a lot of archery regulations across the country I have issue with. Several states mandate that the bow be able to launch an arrow 150 yards! Others have a 400 grain minimum arrow weight. Some say no more than 65% let off on the draw. Others say min of 55 pounds draw weight. None of which have anything to do with what will effectively kill an animal. Just gotta know the regs where you plan to hunt.
This is all true..... and that's why it's really surprising how California isn't so anal about archery regs like they are with just about everything else.

Nice work.  I bookmarked this thread with the hopes of doing something similar before the summer.

Nice.  How noisy is it compared to burlap?
I still haven't found any bag or face material more quiet than burlap.

The new Dick's Sporting Goods in Fremont sure reminded me a lot of the old Tri-Cities Sporting goods that closed down near by in 2006.

CA Regulations / Re: Mobile Deer Stand

Thanks Howard.  I always thought those PGE trucks would make a good deer stand.  I guess I'll have to scrap my idea to buy one and paint it camo. :smt044
