Sick Stealth!

Fish finder install looks really nice and clean and I'm loving the black and white theme Mark.

I'll second a recommendation for the lockracks -- I get almost zero movement on the kayak. I mounted them on the t-track on my hullavators and it is rock solid. For my 2022 outback it has to ride bottom up to fit, but I prefer that anyway. I'll leave it to Moo and Eddie on how they fit the narrower Stealths but I've been super happy with them.

Does the Lockrack bolt right onto the Hullavator so that you can use the two together? Currently I use a Hullavator with locking straps but the Lockrack looks real convenient.

You have two options for mounting when you buy the Lock Rack either bolt it directly to a track bar like you have Mark or buy the adaptor that can clamp to round square or aero bars. Might be a little too complicated but you could try with my set to see if it works.

I really like how simple, secure and light they are.

I bought this one it came with all that stuff, it's lasted over five years and at least 10 trips and I'm still on the first set of batteries because I run it off an outlet at home and the 12v when I'm driving. Costs ten times as much but you don't need to buy or fab anything else.

Full disclosure the cigarette charging adapter eventually broke but my car came with a 12v to 120v converter option.....so I'm still good.

Given my sad performance at Bullards Bar last weekend and my general experiences chasing salmonoids I had my doubts that the day would be productive. Luckily Marks insistence on an early start and being in the company of seasoned Kokanee anglers paid off. Two hours into fishing I was worried I would have a limit too soon and would have to head home early.

Nice to paddled out at new spot. Trolled a chartreuse Macks lures flasher and smile blade wedding ring although seems like everything was getting bit. Overheard Kevin telling Dan (Stackboy) to head across the way so headed across the way.....fish just started jumping in the boat!

Went home with my first Kokanee a nice batch of 11 to 13 inch fish!


Other highlights included hearing the native American chants across the lake, soaking my feet in the cool clear water while fishing and the final swim as we were about to leave.

Dan let us know when your heading to the ocean and hopefully we can meet up again.

Good question, it's not easy to find so I just find any hookup and fishing report and work backwards to find the rest of them.

Back at the launch a little after 4 powerboater heading out to fish said waning moon, zooplankton not active certain times and that the good bite was around 7:30 that morning.
Storm changed Saturdays plan but learned a lot about a different kind of gear and figure I'm just going to have to tag along with some of you Kokanee guys at some point when it cools down.

The rest of the drive to Truckee was very scenic and no traffic! 

Yeah those Epics look nice, I like the older ones that have cleaner lines the new ones are kinda weird looking. Perhaps an older one with an out rigger?

But your near Linda Mar.....You should just GET A STEALTH! 

Even with my older Stealth "surf ski"  loaded with a bunch of stuff it's really fun to paddle in, catch ferry wakes or offshore swell and cover ground quickly with little effort by just paddling to keep up.
