Wanted To Buy / Re: Need a new Truck
« on: January 24, 2025, 04:24:26 PM »
al if you haven't driven your truck for a while,  the tires get kindda flat on one side then after it warms up, itll be smooth again.  it happened to my truck ever so often if i don't drive it for a while.   that being said my truck is up for grabs still if you would like to check it out. 15ish mpg. 2005 tundra 4.7v8 4x4

Wilderness Systems / Re: Tarpon vs. Thresher?
« on: January 16, 2025, 09:14:12 PM »
i had tarpon 120, and thresher 155.  the thresher is fast and stable, but only drawback is the weight and loading. if that's not an issue, the thresher is going to be a much more practical kayak.  one thing to note,  a rudder is almost a requirement.  not sure how a tarpon 140/160 performs without,  but the thresher 155 was painful before i added a rudder.

I'm late to this post, but wanted to wish you well.  And to say that this Revo looks great.  I was a long-time Revo 13 rider and would love to have owned this one.

thanks B

For Sale / Re: FREE! old style crab traps and magazines.
« on: December 07, 2024, 09:05:29 AM »
i had a bunch that were modified to be compliant, using ones like these years back during the transition. just need a roll of the rotten cotten twine and sime pliers.  those became out of service due to corrosion.  then i grabbed these to replace them, and then traps got banned, so i bought pots. so these were just sitting. practically new.
