Introductions / Re: New from Fresno

Thank you gentleman and I would be grateful for any try outs/demos.  I have taken my wife’s kayak out a couple times (she purchased from Dick’s), and while I enjoy being out on it I feel very confined and cramped in it. It’s a 10’ and I can’t think of the name or manufacture of the top of my head.

Introductions / New from Fresno

Hello and good morning everyone.
New to the forum, but have been reading it for awhile now. My name is Mike and I currently reside in the Fresno area. Interested in purchasing my first kayak. My experience with kayak’s is limited at best. In my youth I grew up on the San Juan River in northing NM. I used to find any means I could to get on the water. Usually just below quality waters and float down to the house via kayaks, canoes and rafts.

My wife is an avid fisherman as well, and we would like to hit all the local lakes and San Joaquin river to fish. My thought was the Cuda 12. Would that be more than sufficient for Hensley,  Eastman, Huntington, etc? I don’t see myself making to the ocean anytime soon and if I did I would want to start diving again.  :smt003

Looking forward to any suggestions or comments.
