We have four of them for sale, two in good shape and two new ones

1) men’s medium O’Neill Psychotech with the tags still on it. It was a warranty suit that re covid delays O’Neill took so long to get to us that my son grew 6 inches taller meanwhile and we had to upsize. It is a $500 suit

We also have 3 Excel suits

One is a new size 2XL Excel Comp X front-zip ($400) that I wore once and figured out my 2 O’Neill Psychotech back-zips are just as warm so I just need to offload something to make space in the cave

The other two Excel back-zip suits are in good shape, I think my sons is a medium and mine either XL or 2XL I will check

Mine would be in great shape except a kook who thought he was a hotshot came down on me from maybe 8 feet up and buried his fins in my hip so there’s about a 3” tear that should be easy to fix

Everything is 4/3 and well taken care of

BTW these are surf suits but after spending the last couple of years spending anywhere from 4-12 hours a day in the water, I have different ideas about immersion and how to prep for it. A long time ago I did that routinely but my wetsuits then were custom fitted and very warm

Ive basically concluded that full suits are better option than farmer johns, unless you are very good at getting yourself out of the water in pronto fashion

Anyway, I will post pics

We maintain everything well so the other two Excels are actually in great shape just the one tear on mine

I spend a lot of time(4-6 hours) in the water these days and have a lot of time to think about what will get a person by in long exposure situations

My farmer john was great for paddling time and all the short swims I did in conditions that knocked me in the water. Most people will have lower tolerance especially for the cold water temps in winter, and a lot of people if they swim the winter ocean will take it very hard indeed

If and when I do any kayak time in future it will be in my surf suits peeled down to the waist so if conditions go ripe or I go in I can and my yak sinks or gets blown away in the wind I can pull it up and stay warm

Probably more of a safety thread thought but just saying
