Took the boat out this last weekend for some cod fishing. We ended up crushing them! It was non stop fish for the first couple hours of mostly big blues with some olives mixed in. We got a few decent lings during the day too. At one point, I hooked into something I was sure was a decent Ling.  It took a few good runs on its way up but I saw an orange/red color as it was coming up. Once it got a bit closer I realized it was a really nice Bocaccio. We ended the day with a decent mix of species for the day to include 4 tree fish (all released). Ended up spending too much time messing with the rockfish so we never got a chance to go take a Crack at halibut but there was plenty of bait up shallow so I'm sure they are around.
