Hey all,
I have decided to let the reins go of the Nor Cal Chapter of HOW. I have been doing this since Don started the chapter in 2009-10. Missed 3 events in that entire time. I just have become too busy with other life projects to continue on here. With that said, I would like to thank all of you that have helped us out over the years and volunteered a lot of your time.

I would like to find someone to take over the helm, so if any of you would like to look into it let me know. I could help you transition over if needed.

Hey Rob,

Thank you for serving HOW in you capacity. I know just how hard it can be doing events since I do them here in Dallas.
It wasn't a good year since we got the cabash handed to us and made it too difficult to take vets out, but hopefully next year we can be back to normal.

We volunteers and coordinators still got chances to make it out together and did fairly well during the year. If you look at my avatar that was one of many nine pounders we landed during the spring as well as one that hit ten. Five pounders were considered small this spring down here in Texas.

Once again thanks for serving HOW and hopefully some one steps up and takes the reigns of one of HOW's great chapters.   :smt001:smt001

I’ll step up, but I’ll need help.

Who wants to be treasurer?
Who wants to haul gear to events?

I can store the gear at my barn in Newcastle (near Roseville on 80), but I can’t tow at the moment.

I'm glad to be involved as a volunteer and hope I can do so I the future.
There is a lot of hard work and dedication that goes into this.

This $30 rod works for me. 8ft long, medium action. I won't feel bad if it breaks during a surf landing yard sale.
