After a long time, and a lot of going back and fourth, I broke down and sent the deposit for a 2019 "Triple Nickle," aka Fisha 555, in Orange. I also after conferring with Ruben decided to go all out on this one, as I wanted a boat that was light, fast stable and could be used for fishing, crabbing, recreation, and light touring.  I wanted something that I wasn't going to have to worry about lugging or getting on top of a roof rack as I get older.  One other boat really had me interested  as well but the only Kaskazi dealer is in Florida, and the shipping would of been almost as much as the boat.   I wish more US kayak makers would offer more options over rotomold tanks 100+ pound kayaks are becoming more the norm, but it is what it is.  Plastic is king, and with Kayaks practically being sold in 7-11 stores now, price dictates that rotomold is going to be around for a long time to come.

With the resurgence of Queen songs lately, everytime I hear "Fat Bottom Girls"  I can't help but think of Hobie Pro Anglers

I've always liked those, congrats!

I don't see the 555 on their website, there is a 475, 525 and 575. Do you have a link for photos and spec's?

From what I have read and seen of them, they are sleek, light, stable and are made for a bigger paddler (the Fisha 555).  Everything Ruben is getting back from the owners seems to be positive.  Hell ever since the first load of Stealth's came over a few years ago I have been eyeing them.   Everything seemed right to make the transition, I moved, live closer to the water, Minister of Finance gave me a green light aka the home boss, I have a place to keep it when it is not in the water.  That and the other things I mentioned earlier really pushed me that way. I wanted to do it before I left California, but the stars weren't in line for it.   Tax refunds, funds from selling my other yaks, and return of my security deposit from my previous apartment, made sure I would have the funds without having to touch savings, so that worked out to my advantage as well.

What part of Washington. I live in Lacey, but work in San Jose. I plan on fishing the week before Memorial Day and possibly that weekend. Salmon in the salt out of Illwaco or Westport.

I really like those kayaks too. I think my favorite feature is that every thing goes below deck when going through the surf. I was eying Ariel’s at the Berryessa Fish n Chill a few weeks ago. He offered to let me take it out but I was beat from paddling around all day in the sun so I didn’t go for it.

If you haven’t watched them already “RoKKiT KiT” on YouTube has some good videos on setup and fishing.

How long is the agonizing wait for it to arrive?

I live and work in Bremerton now. About three miles form the Shipyard. Funny as close as I am to everything, we found a place off the beaten path that is quiet, and close to the Illahee Preserve.  I will have to look up where you are, as my knowledge of the area is still limited.

I have watched many RoKKit Kit video.  I am always impressed that he pushes what ever he has tot he limit.  It helped me make a decision on what to buy.  I like how he pushes that Micro-Skiff tot he limit.  Too many American made Micro skiffs seem to be made for the Florida waterways, and don't show you there boats in anything over a 1 foot swell or a 4 inch chop. I was hoping Bote with the Rover would of showed us something on the wild side, with that bow, I thought for sure it can cut some waves, but alas they keep it tame.  This makes me question how good it is.   RoKKit goes for the most he can get out of it, and then some, and not always to his advantage.  I respect that about him.  I don't know what he does besides fish, but he does push it.  400 km on a micro skiff, is insane.

I saw recent video's of their new place. Cool you get to se them at work building what could be your next yak.  Hand laid fiberglass is some tedious work, but they make it look good!
