I always hear "big net" is a must from experienced salmon anglers.
What consider big net? Wouldn't be it too cumbersome on the kayak? 920

I know a Viet mechanic, always go to him. Treat me nicely and cost is reasonable. Let me know if you want a name.

Thanks Alex. P-Line CXX is what I prefer too when it comes to mono. Very strong line and cheap.

General Fishing Tips / Re: Salmon trolling from the Revolution« on: March 13, 2015, 12:36:35 PM »I run 20 or 25 lb P-Line CXX for my main line and 30-lb p-Line CXX for my leaders. Braided line are smaller in diameter so it cut through water better >> less drag. Is there any specific reason you use mono? 923

Wilderness Systems / Re: Tarpon 140 for diving?« on: March 04, 2015, 09:56:30 PM »
If you still dive from a banks board, you miss out something.
I just make 3 clips in the back. Gun, game bag to the clips. It's an awesome boat for diving IMO. I am eyeing a Threaher now since it has a rod pod for gun storage. 929
