would a series of small drain holes (large enough for sand to fall out) and a slightly larger opening at the front for intake of water while paddling flush the sand out.

Guys have been doing similiar ideas at Shelter Cove. That is a bit longer of a ramp than any around here.

When I make my jig heads I cut off the spur. You can then put the soft bodies on and super glue them to the back of the jig head.

Halibut:  Garlic salt / Brown sugar. Marinate 12-24 hours. Smoke in Little Chief smoker with 2 pans of cherry chips and leave in smoker till consistency that you enjoy.

I was stationed in that area of Tn. & Kentucky back in the late 70’s. The water is definetly warmer than here, but not wearing a lifejacket is plain dumb. He also said he was 60-70 yards off shore, depending on how good/bad a swimmer you are that could be a looong ways.  For us (retired coasty) working over the side or in our work boat lifejackets were mandatory.

2 short studs (pvc?) from bottom of seat to go slightly into the drain holes??  This would stop front to back movement. That seat does look very comfortable!!

Update on gate. They replaced the old one with new. The only sign is about open and close times: nothing about permanent closure

My grandson started outfishing his dad when he was 2 years old. First fish was a small Largemouth bass on a buzz bait. He told his dad: Daddy I got a fish, my son didn’t beleave it until my grandson held it up. My son could only say Da##.

Update 01-22-20. The wall is OPEN. The only fencing still there is only around the bathrooms (porta potties still there) and the fish cleaning station. 👍👍🤩🤩

Thanks for the update. It looks great. Can we launch from the ramp now?
