I tied a monkey fist on the end of my tow line it gives you more distance when you trow it in case the person you are towing it to is caught in a bad location. There are plenty of vedios on how to tie it.

Ordered Wheeleez for $211.95 the other day. Maybe I should have waited but I am too impatient. Hightide, your suggestion is the best but Frank said no. Afterall, he is nine days older than me.

I have used this type of connector when working on low voltage they work great just heat them up with a match

I can relate to the cold water there, I was rescued by PB there myself. I was wearing a PFD but not dressed for emersion. ( lesson learned ) hypothermia is no joke and it doesn't take long to set in you loose grip in your hands fairly quick so if didn't get back in your kayak quick your in deep trouble.
