For Sale / Garmin Unit for sale
« on: June 15, 2021, 11:07:16 AM »
I have a brand new Garmin ECHOMAP UHD 94Sv with transducer that I need to sell. I ordered this and a different Raymarine unit but ended up going with the Raymarine. Willing to part with it for $1000. Brand new in box.

That looks great! Would be interesting to see how a larger version of that would perform on some sort of shrimp fly style rig. Seems pretty solid!

Nice .If you plan on storing the kayak(s) on the hulls you may want to add some padding as not to get oil-canned from sitting to long, otherwise storing on the gunwales would be better

For sure. I’ll keep that in mind. Definitely better idea to store on gunwales.

One thing to keep in mind with that rack, you need to have full access from the end to remove the kayaks, which for my storage area would make it difficult to position and still be usable, especially for the bottom boat.

Good luck, and definitely curious to see what you end up building!

Appreciate the feedback! It turned out great!!!

General Fishing Tips / Re: Hali Tides & Moon

I’m not super experience in halibut fishing. From my few excursions I’ve learned that the fishing tends to be better with smaller differences between low and high tide. I’ve also seen lots of halibut caught from 5 FOW to 25 FOW.

Can’t wait for April 1st. Finally will get to start rockfish season with a kayak of my own. Just got stocked up with gear from Pitbull Tackle. Fairly priced and quality gear for sure.

Fish ID sub-forum / Re: Bat ray mutation or relative?

Pretty sure it’s a genetic mutation. There have been several other videos and photos I’ve seen ranging from Ventura to Bodega that have documented bat rays with wings like this. Pretty neat!

I’m not sure about all day access but I know HMB Kayak Co. allows you to store your kayak there all year for a couple hundred bucks. I know a few members on here who do this and was thinking of doing it myself.

Looks like it is a wrong price with wrong product number... Definitely was too good to be true.
