I'd be up for that. I've always loved leopard sharks as a 'fun to catch" species.

count me in Jim,,,,,,it would be fun just to catch, log&release! = all in the name of science. :smt003

Is replying to this post good enough? :smt003
I'm definitely in. Light tackle leopard fishin' with midshipman and barbless hooks? Hell ya.

I've always thought a southbay flotilla run would be fun. Also the Dumbarton Rail bridges area is a good Sturgeon spot and there are stripers among the pilings
Launch in Palo Alto and explore the southbay all the way to Alviso. Have a few shuttle cars in Alviso and we can return for our vehicles while some of us fire up the BBQ. A shorter version would be a RWC to Palo Alto docks run. Launching north and landing south wouold minimize the risk of paddling back against the bay winds

Somehow I feel like we have all "signed up for this before" & it never happened ... it happened, just not with the aide of us? I'm IN if this happens!
Miss fishing for Leopards since they closed off Elkhorn Slough
