where is the south jetty?  I've always launched from next to the dock.

edit - is this where you are launching?

That's (your map point) what I think Chefstano had in mind.  Hope you can make it.  You need to go past the harbor to where the restaurant signs are (from the North), turn rt, cross a 1 lane bridge, right(north) again back past the south harbor and the big Phil's fish restaurant to the end of the road.  Not a lot of parking, but I've found places.  From there, depending on the tide, it's 50-100 yds to the water over sand/mud. No facilities.  I'll put ch 69 on in case of lates or you decide to launch at the North harbor near the kayak place.

I'm going launch from the harbor area but I'll have my VHF with me.  See you around 615 or so.

I'm in for Thursday.  I'll be launching from the harbor, that is if I can get bait there?  Anyone know whether the guy that sells bait out of the parking lot there is 'open' on Thursdays?  Any other alternatives open 5:30 / 6:00?

I'm bringing a tray.  You are welcome to "Mooch".  It's been sitting in my freezer for a year, but should be fine...
