For Sale / Ok trailer with crap inflatable boat for sale
« on: February 28, 2023, 08:51:48 PM »
I have a 1990 18' Achilles inflatable sitting on a 2002 galvanized pacific trailer for sale.  No motor. Trailer frame is decent needs right spindle and leaf springs.  If i was going to use it I would put a torsion axle on it.  This would make an excellent trailer for an AI or similar big kayak. Must take boat.  It's near moss landing.  Make me an offer.  It belongs to a non profit animal rescue group.  You'd be doing a good thing by kicking us a little cash for it.
Thanks

I have some where between 75 100 lbs of Pb. I if anyone has molds I'd love to split it with them.  I've  got a burner to melt it.  I'll be in Mexico till July. Pm me and we'll connect when I return. I'm in pacifica.  I have a1lb mold I'd love some banana sinkers for mooching.  1 2 3 oz. I'd most likely settle for what ever you have.

Thanks

General Talk / nightmare rod build
« on: November 05, 2016, 10:15:53 AM »
Finished my 11 year old son's birthday present at 12:01 this morning. Complete with custom travel case. Months in the making. A friend gave me a walnut burl from their orchard. The trick was how to bore a 1/2 inch hole 14 inch thru a piece then turn it down to 1 inch with out it either blowing, up or warping when it dried. Once that was done the rest was pretty ordinary. Looking forward to our first steelhead fishing trip.

Introductions / "Twicefishing"
« on: August 07, 2013, 08:35:45 PM »
Have any of  you  guys  heard of twicefishing? This is  how it's  done. You  take  your new  Yak out  for  some  salmon  fishing  land a  nice  nice  18-20 lb fish  paddle  back to the harbor  where you  decide to  gut it. After  you  get it all gutted,  get  what  you  think is  a firm  grip on the  fish  dunk it over the  side to rinse it. Then,  let  it  slip  through  your  fingers and  descend to  the  bottom. After the  fish  has  settled  nicly  in  15 to  20  feet of  murky  harbor  water, with out he  aid of  fins or a  mask, you  dive  down  and  search  for it. With a little  practice  you  can  get  quite  good at it. Thank goodness they  are  a nice  bright  crome  color.

Well at least the skunk is off my  boat.
