For Sale / Malone Microsport Trailer with Extendable Tongue
« on: October 20, 2018, 04:54:20 PM »
I have a very nice Malone Microsport trailer that has an extendable tongue, hobie cradles, cargo buckles and a spare tire. I have only used this to transport my kayak and it has never been in water. The trailer is in excellent shape. I no longer have my kayak and do not have a use for it. I am asking $800 with the hobie cradles and $700 without - I believe these usually run around $1,400-$1,500 new. I am located in Rocklin. PM Jonathan if interested.

Need to move this - 2017 Camo Hobie Pro Angler 14. This boat was probably used only 15 to 20 times over the year and a half that I’ve owned it and is in excellent shape. I am also selling my Malone Microsport trailer with extension tongue seperately – I only use the trailer for transport and it has never been in the water. This kayak comes with many great features listed below. There is absolutely nothing wrong at all with this boat. It has a little wear on the bottom and that is it. My son is too big to put on the bow so I decided to buy a bass boat. Below is a list of everything I am selling and the price of everything separate:

Kayak and included accessories: Price $3,000
Mirage Drive and Advantage Seat
Mirage Drive Cover
Hobie Marine Mat
Hobie Paddle
Hobie Scupper Plug Cart
Boondox Landing Gear w/regular wheels
Anchor
Two Anchor Trolleys
H-Rail tackle Bin included
Includes BerleyPro Tranducer cover for Lowrance 7Ti Transducer (Note: I can remove this)

Selling Separately:

Hobie H-Crate w/4 extra rod holders & H rail tackle bin included $120
Hobie PFD $50
Yak-Atak Leverage Net $75
Dry Suit XL (I’m 5’11” 220lbs. for reference) $450 – Paid $600 (used only twice)
Lowrance Elite 7ti with Navionics Card and totalscan transducer $625
Malone Microsport trailer with Hobie cradles and boat buckles - $900

Will sell the entire package for $4,500
PM Jonathan if intersted. Located in Rocklin.

« on: September 29, 2018, 09:11:47 PM »
PM Jonathan if interested. It's not pictured, but I have the keys. Brackets are a little faded, but work fine. Used them for about 6 months, then bought a trailer.

I'm planning to purchase a Lowrance Elite 7ti to mount on my Hobie Pro Angler 14 2017 model. Can anyone recommend a good mount to use for this?

General Fishing Tips / Delta Tides
« on: June 30, 2017, 04:25:47 PM »
Relatively new to fishing the Sac region and I have never had to deal with tides before. I fish for mostly bass. Can anyone give me a cliffnotes version rundown of how to deal with fishing the tides? i.e. Is it better on the incoming, outgoing, etc. Note - This question is in regards to the Delta. Any good links are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

General Talk / Reel Repair Recommendations
« on: June 30, 2017, 04:08:54 PM »
Does anyone have any good recommendations for a place that does reel repair/rehab in the Sac area? I've got a few old reels that I'd like to bring back to life.

General Talk / Pardee Lake
« on: June 30, 2017, 11:40:25 AM »
Was thinking about trying this lake for smallmouth. Does anyone fish this lake regularly? And do you have any tips (locations, lures, etc.)

My wife has graciously given me the day off with no restrictions on Father's Day. Planning to chase smallmouth all day long in the Delta around the Walnut Grove area. I've only been on the Delta once out in Stockton, but heard Walnut Grove was a good place for smallies. Two questions:

1. Where is a good place to launch in that area?

2. Is the water safe right now? I live in the Sac area and the river still looks extremely high and fast. Is this affecting the sloughs in the delta?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Introductions / Intro from Rocklin
« on: June 15, 2017, 03:16:05 PM »
Hello,

I'm Jon. Live in Rocklin. Fish mostly around the Sac area out of my Hobie PA 14. Target mostly smallmouth and largemouth bass. Do a little striper fishing. Would like to get into trout and salmon, but don't have a lot of experience. Relatively new to kayak fishing in general.
