We haven't ventured too far with the ocean fishing yet because it's just us. Wouldn't mind doing a Doran Beach or HMB trip for lings or crab.

Thanks for the add! Been fishing for a long time up in the Lost Sierras for trout on the bank. We've had a kayak for about a year now and have it outfitted the way we like and have been out on it a few times in the Gold Lakes areas with some decent luck. We're here to learn from others and give feedback if we know what we're talking about. We're far from pro's but this is the only escape from the daily BS that we can think of.

  We have a Saturn inflatable (OFK14). We have it more modified than the picture attached and will do a write up on it, hopefully this week if work hasn't killed me by Saturday.
