« on: September 07, 2016, 06:40:39 PM »
Just pulled down my Loomis to get ready for sac chrome this weekend. Put very little pressure, nothing like what a fish would do, and it snapped about 6 inches below tip. How do I go about getting it replaced?

Hookups and Fishing Reports (Viewable by Public) / Crabbing report
« on: February 10, 2015, 06:23:58 PM »
Talked to a guy that owns a fish market in Bay Area today. He said his crabs are coming down from Oregon now. He said commercial crabbing in Northern California has been stopped until March 1st. Over fishing (crabbing) stated as reason. Anyone hear this? Interesting if true. Wouldn't bother me if they kept commies in for another month.

Saw a guy diving in full tanks for crabs at Doran last Saturday. Talked to him when he came out. Said he stayed in about 15' of water. Had 5-6 in bag. He said it was a challenge to catch them, fast, and had to sneak up from rear. Interesting. Never seen this before. Anyone try it?
