Hey Molbasser...

I will be there with my 18 year old son on a yellow Malibu 2XL. We will both be entering the contest. My wife and I fished Lexington last week and did OK. The bass were suspended at 10-15 feet with some on the bottom. Not much action on the top. A few questions...

What would you like me to bring?

The parking lot wasn't opened until 8:00 AM last Thursday. Should we park across the street?

Thanks! Scott

Adam -

I'll swing by the pro shop this afternoon to take a look at it and probably buy it. Thanks for the tip.

Adam -

I am in the market for a landing net. I assume you could use it for landing salmon.

General Fishing Tips / Where to Buy Game Clips
« on: July 17, 2006, 09:24:09 AM »
I noticed a lot of people using game clips at the HMB tournament yesterday. Looks a lot easier than a stringer. Where do you buy them and how much do they cost? I live in the east bay.

Thanks! Scott  :smt006

After some recon in HMB today, I will be fishing from north to south along the Half Moon Reef heading to the South East Reef (37deg28.26'Lat, 122deg28.80'Long) which is 2 miles south of the harbor. If anyone wants to join me, the company is welcome. I own a yellow malibu 2 XL.

I am going to check out HMB tomorrow. I have also never fished the area. I will let you know what I find out. Squid seems to be in demand, Berkeley and Emeryville are out.  :smt009

I am not much of a bass fisherman, but I will see you there and at least enjoy the shore lunch.
