im not huge on the banana superstition anymore but I like to give people a hard time sometimes.

I make a sandwich with my coffee in the morning. Usually, eat half the sandwich in the car on the way to the launch as "breakfast" and throw the other half in the dry bag for "lunch."  If I have a banana at home I'll eat it in my kitchen so I can avoid unwanted conversations about superstition. And because bananas get bruised and gross quickly in a dry bag.

I always bring some cliff bars or similar. I have a high metabolism and things can get ugly for me fast if I need calories.

I too don’t have a big urge to eat that early in the morning, but after long days…I too was feeling pretty thrashed. I also cramp up a lot in my quads and feet when peddling for many miles, best solution for me is bringing an avocado which tastes better than a banana and has more potassium as well.

I also bring a 3 liter camel bag full of water and drop a few of those hydration multiplier tabs into it. Both help with the cramping. When I’m thinking ahead a bit more, I like to bring protein bars, pop tarts and when available PIZZA!

Not my go-to. Leftovers. St Louis pork ribs ,salt, pepper ,garlic powder, rub. Sprayed occasionally with orange juice.

Boat lunch for tomorrow if I get out of bed early.

1) Breakfast -- a burrito (just scrambled eggs wrapped in a tortilla)
2) Snacks -- usually just some salty chips and whatever fruit is available at home (grapes, apple, peach, etc.)
3) Lunch -- Avocado, some cheese, and maybe a few corn chips
4) Water -- 3 liters

With the exception of the avocado, everything can be eaten with one hand, which is a plus if it's windy or bumpy.

I like to launch at first light, have breakfast about 8-9am. After breakfast, I'm munching on something pretty regularly which, strangely, seems to reduce any tendency towards seasickness...

Arent u guys scared these substantial meals are an admissions pass to the brown trout hatchery?  Thats why I never eat OTW n rarely eat bfast b4.  At most a sugar free red bull n water. 

Cmon not like skippng a meal or 2 will killya  :smt008

Possible, but never had that problem yet. For me, snacking reduces the chance of seasickness.

I keep it super simple and compact with peanut butter and jelly Sammy (high cal, low space, no cooking needed) and a couple cliff bars. I tote a 1.5liter camelback bladder with water, and have another liter hidden away down below for emergencies.

Breakfast is always an egg sandwich I make the night before and eat while I'm driving wherever I'm going.

Well, if your asking  :smt044  I have to eat in the morning for two reasons, one to trigger the trip to the brown trout hatchery before I leave for fishing and the other to take a handful of medicine. I also take Bacon for a walk before going anywhere, so get up hella early 3-3:30am to do all this and leave by 4-4:30.

too funny!

so last weekend I brought 1/2 Machaca burrito, 1 G water, box of donuts.
had the 1/2 burrito on the water, drank about 1/2 the water (2Q), and honestly felt much better through the day and also on the drive home - of course the Salmon Scotty gave me helped too....soooo delicous.

I did pick up a box of frozen PBJ's and will add that to the kit next time - in place of the box of donuts. may swap out a 3L platypus for the gallon of water next time - just a matter of where to put it, probably on the back of the chair.
