Is crab season still open up there?

Anyone with a plan to kayak crab Friday?

would it be worth it to us to bring 2 traps?
Friday I could paddle Amy out so she could try her first kayak crab set?
We are packed super tight ,but, if it was worth it they could tie out top to the yaks for the ride??

also diving for them by hand was spoken of this summer--we are geared for that already?

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”

I'm watching the fire by my work to see if I am going to have to send Amy ahead of me Thursday early a.m in  the yak van .
We are all loaded up now, and then I'll just follow on my motorcycle.
Dread that long ride ,but need to be on call just in case the fire turns and makes it down to yankee pt or worse   :smt012

I doubt it could burn down to the sea -but my job is to be on deck - vacation might get back seated..She can hang out up there at least..

big time war zone yesterday
Tue A.M as I rode my motorcyle down to my work/ into hell---war zone---  doors playing The End in my head , type red sun and smoke and dozers and water trucks and and an endless stream of tired trucks coming north.....combined with the july fog that already looks like smoke but is now purple red..unreal down here..

so if you see Amy setting camp Thursday solo say Hi -thanks
