Mmmh.  These regulations talk about 2 fish and barbless hooks above Ancil Hoffman park only? Where do I find the 1oz weight restriction? I think many bank anglers still do the flossing with long leaders upriver? Still newbie to fishing hence these questions. Want to do it the right way. Thanks.

As far as a single hook on anything one oz and  above is concerned, I have been having a hard time finding that info too. Everybody I have talked to at the tackle shop and on the water have been saying that, so I've been playing it safe and going with that until I can find out for certain.

Keep us posted on where the salmon is... I am unlikely to get out on water next 2 weekends, but really want to land one this year.  Is it correct that this years limit is one salmon /day?
Yes 1 a day...and a single hook with anything 1oz or greater....

I might be hitting the mouth of the American this weekend for salmon..

Have you heard any reports on fish in the upper American yet? Seems like they should be up to Sunrise by now. I was thinking of hitting the red bridge this weekend and see what happens.
I haven't heard about the upper American.  I heard most of the fish coming up are staging up at the mouth before going to the feather river... I was out last weekend and saw some goods ones landed, but none for me yet....

Jackson Kayak / Re: Hook 4 transducer and the kraken!

Cool good Info  ..... I ended up going the lowrance scupper mount. Had to put a dab of goop underneath the transducer to keep it from moving around.

Most epic Albion trip to date with an amazing salmon bite happening all week. Will never forget this trip.

The quality and size of salmon were amazing. Caught 12 keepers total from the kayak. 8 salmon were in the 31"-35" range. 4 dinks were in the 24"-28" range. Lost over 15 slugs at the kayak.

Shifra caught her first 2 salmon from Tyjas boat and her very first ever kayak salmon one our last day after packing gear.

My family came up from Socal so it made this trip extra special. Sent back 5 slugs back down with them. Gave away lots of fish.
Awesome job Arial! I wish I could of made it. Next year for sure....

An easy spot are the irrigation ditches that feed the rice fields. I have a friend who did well there but they spray sooo not sure how that effects em...
