Hi there! I'm fairly new to the kayaking world, and would love to get more experienced. Anybody in the Auburn area that may want to do some river or lake trops to start with, PM me please. Thanks for adding me! :smt006

Thanks for the welcome... seriously... I have a hobie and would love to "get my feet wet". Plase keep me in mind if you come near here. Good luck all!

I'm hoping to do some winter trout fishing. There is always the port of Sacramento. It's a good spot to get experience. I'm not sure what the fishing is like this time of year though.

Welcome to NCKA :smt006
I would recommend Rollins or Sugar Pine in your area. A lake is a much better spot to start as opposed to a river. Sugar pine doesn't allow powerboats (PBs); which is also a big plus.

What does it mean when someone is fishy? Urban dictionary refers to acting feminine. :smt001
