Would it be possible to get a LIKE button and or a thumbs up or down button to vote on a posting.
The recent posting of the new boat design really shows a need for them
Cheers

General Talk / Re: Like to see this puppy on the Ocean
« on: March 01, 2024, 09:15:59 AM »
Interesting, innovation is alive and well BUT
First thing I see is the front of the rear portion is flat. To me you are pushing water not gliding over so will be slow IMO
Probably ok for fresh water use in flat calm water.
Not for ocean use IMO
The foot steering is interesting but mounted high ???
Maybe retrofit a sit on top ???

General Fishing Tips / Re: Wetsuit vs. dry suit - which one?
« on: February 16, 2024, 08:06:47 AM »
Dry Suit for cold or cool weather. Yes take more care but warmer
Need a wicking material under gar-met. They come in light or heavy
Visit local dive shop to check out.
Also warmer when taking of at end of day when changing clothes after trip

Very good group. They do a great job teaching Vets how to paddle. Nice indoor pool.

Read the article and got curious. Checked out the motor and battery set up. Was thinking may be time. THEN looked at price. NO go for me. Thinking if I have to go that far then will give my buddy gas money and go in his boat and be comfy.
Nice rig but in my mind totally negates the true purpose of a kayak.
