For Sale / Bow... SOLD to Gwhiz
« on: March 08, 2014, 09:44:12 PM »
I'm selling my bear attack set at a 28.5" dl and #70 DW. It comes with a 5 pin sight. Bow works great and is very accurate. I've killed a few animals with it and was very happy. Its adjustable draw weight is #60-70. I'm only getting rid of it because I just got a Mathews chill R. I am asking $250 o.b.o. I will leave it on here for about a week and if there's no takers it will be on craigslist. I'm in Salinas Ca. You can pm me if you want any info.

Wow, that is a big Bass. I would mount that one

It costs more to mount a fish then a deer or pig these days. Last I checked it was around $20 an inch! But I agree, I would mount it.

Forgot to mention, if you are into metal detecting there is some cowboy stuff in the exposed lake bed. Some guy found some coins from the 1800's and a few other cool little antiques.

Hookups and Fishing Reports (Viewable by Public) / Lake San Antonio 2-23-14
« on: February 25, 2014, 10:20:21 PM »
Headed to San Antonio just to take a loom really. Didn't take a yak just made a few cast from the bank for an hour or so and left. Water was a pretty gross. Color but the lake was low enough to where you could fish most of it in a day with a yak. I didn't catch crap. Talked to a guy that was in a small aluminum boat that said he didn't even get a nibble and that the back of the lake had tons of dead carp accompanied with a rather unpleasant odor. The stripers should be easy to find with the water level down so far. Not a exciting report but if somebody has been after a San Antonio striper now is the time to go get your troll on.

Hookups and Fishing Reports (Viewable by Public) / Monterey 11-24-13
« on: November 29, 2013, 09:27:27 PM »
First of all I am sorry that I don't have any pics but I have a decent story.... Sunday morning me my dad my brother and a buddy headed out to the Monterey area for what was probably our last salt trip of the year. We instantly got into a school of blacks and even snuck a decent ling out of the spot. After catching a bunch of blacks we headed to our special ling spot and all had limits within the hour. Smallest was 24" and biggest was only 29" but I wasn't complaining. We finished off the next couple of hours just catching a mixed bag of cod. We all ended with full limits. It was a great way to end the 2013 cod season and I really need to start taking pics on the good days. When I start catching alot of fish i totally forget about the camera and kn the bad days I just want a fish I could take a pic of..... oh well there will always be a next time
