Started off calm early in Half Moon Bay and then the wind picked up :-(.  Still had a great time fishing with friends and nabbing a few rock fish and crabs to boot.

Thanks Bushy and thanks for introducing us to kayak fishing!  We'd love to hook up with you again sometime!  And continue learning... ;-).    We launched out of Pillar Point Half Moon Bay several weeks ago and did quite well.  Plenty of fish still in Half Moon Bay.  If you've got the time... we'll make the time.

Fishing Pics / Half Moon Bay 9/26/18
« on: September 27, 2018, 10:06:09 AM »
Buddy and I fished Half Moon Bay yesterday.  Water was like glass, very little current.  Never seen so many boats and other kayakers out fishing.  Watched one salmon caught out of a boat.  Had a blast.  Ended the day with 8 rockfish and 1 ling each.

Buddy and I hit Santa Cruz this morning.  Lot of bait fish jumping early in the morning.  Rock fish were later jumping out of the water while feeding. Ended the day with about 15 fish and 1 keeper ling.

Good luck!  If you're willing to hit Pillar Point (half moon bay) region... let me know!  Love to soak some traps and fish while I wait!
